Nejma teaches Bellydance classes in Hialeah in Florida 

Welcome to Nejma Bellydance!  

If you are considering the possibility to take a belly dance class, you have found the right place! 

It is my goal to help students achieve their goals in Dance; weather this be to learn to dance, enjoy the dance community of women, have fun, feel comfortable in a body positive environment.  I am glad to help you thru your dance journey and walk by your side


If your intention of study is for fun, or to perform in the future, you will be introduced to a world of full of culture and feeling thru movement. 


If you have not ever taken a dance class or have “two left feet” don’t worry! I will teach you all the technique you will need to achieve results and encourage you in your journey. I am committed to encourage you and guide you through every step and provide you my knowledge in order to achieve your goal.

Belly Dance Beginner - Level 1 & 2 Technique & Fundamentals

Wednesday 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. May 8th

Join our eight-week course in Middle Eastern Dance and learn essential movements and proper execution techniques. This beginner's class will focus on the Egyptian style, covering basic techniques, fundamentals, and cultural aspects. The course also includes an introduction to the veil.


No previous dance experience is required, and we encourage all students to remain at this level until they have mastered the fundamentals.

Belly Dance Intermediate - Level 1 Traveling, Layering & Stylization

Tuesday 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.  - May 7th

This eight-week course is designed for students who have a strong background in fundamental technique and are ready to explore the multifaceted nuances of Middle Eastern dance. Belly Dance Level 2 helps develop skills in traveling with all the movements learned in Level 1, and practice combinations as the weeks progress.


The course consists of extensive layering, complex footwork, combos, and the development of Egyptian musicality and stylization. Students may remain at this level as long as necessary to perfect their skills


(Prerequisite: Belly Dance Beginners Level 1 & 2)

Belly Dance Advanced - Technique & Musicality

In this course, you will learn how to develop advanced techniques, practice elaborate combinations and footwork, and improve your stage presence in Arabic dance. Additionally, you will be introduced to performance nuances and expressions that are essential in this dance form.


Nejma is a patient and a teacher who pays close attention to detail. Her technique breakdown focuses on protecting your alignment and bringing awareness to your body as you move. 


Prerequisite: Belly Dance Intermediate Level 1 & 2

IMPORTANT INFO:


- Pre-registration is Required!

- For classes to be held, a minimum of 5 Students must be Pre-registered  

- Registration may not be transferred to another person without previous consultation and approval. 

- There are no extensions on classes beyond the end of the session.

- ALL Fees are Non-Refundable.

WHAT TO WEAR?

Students should arrive at class 5 to 10 minutes before class


Come dressed in comfortable clothing such as yoga pants, t-shirts, or tank tops. Tight pants and short skirts should be avoided as they may limit your movements. You may wear ballet slippers or jazz shoes, but they are optional. The class is barefoot.
